Expression is a syntax editor that helps you define, view, edit, validate, and evaluate expressions. Many Exontrol components support expression-based formatting and customization. For example, setting a column's format to currency(value) displays numeric values as currency (such as $1,234.00 instead of 1234). Expression allows you to verify expression syntax, test evaluations using different input values, and quickly identify errors. It can also serve as an end-user editor, enabling users to configure and customize application behavior through expressions.
